Company History
Northwest PC Techs is a division of VR Media Solutions. VR Media Solutions
was founded by John Heikkinen and Robert Donovan. Computer service and
repairs have been a part of VR Media Solutions since almost the first day.
As with each division of VR Media Solutions John and Robert were not at all
pleased with the status quo. The computer service and repair industry is long
overdue for a change and VR Media Solutions is just the company to
provide such a change.
The following are things VR Media Solutions designed Northwest PC Techs to
change:

American Labor - We are a proud company based in the USA! Our
technicians are all Tax Paying Americans and speak clear English. Yes, we
do fix A LOT of the crap work performed by Foreign Technicians, even those from
Microsoft. If you want quality, honest computer service, hire an American.
Enough said!

Repair Times - When your computer crashes, having it sent out and
returned weeks later simply won't do. When your computer crashes you need
it back up and running immediately!

Onsite Repairs - Often times when repairing a computer or network it is
simply better to have someone there onsite at the location to handle any
situations that may arise during service or installation.

Remote Support - There are times when it is not necessary for a
technician to be on location to fix a problem with your computer or network.
Northwest PC Techs also believes if a technician is not required to be onsite
then you should benefit from the cost it saves Northwest PC Techs. Remote
Support is a fantastic way to solve many problems on your PC within minutes.
All technicians are located in the Pacific Northwest and can connect to your
computer remotely within seconds to begin service or repairs.

Professionalism - We don't just solve part of the problem and then tell
you to call another provider to finish the rest of the job. Northwest PC
Techs are qualified to finish every job from start to finish.
An example would be bad internet speeds at your location. We are not going
to come out work on your system and then tell you to call your ISP to fix the
rest. Our technicians will call your ISP with you and make sure all issues
are resolved before they leave.

"Trial by Fire" - We don't know when this became a good idea or what
corporate bean counter thought this up, but at
Northwest PC Techs this practice is not allowed.
We are not in the business of providing on the job training for technicians! We do not allow a
technician to learn new tasks on your computer or network. You paid to
have a service performed by a professional, someone with more knowledge of your
computer than yourself.
If a technician needs training on new tasks Northwest PC Techs has plenty of
internal networks for just such training.

Contracts - Seriously! This just makes our sides hurt. If you
have to sign a contract to have basic work completed on your computer or network
just assume you're about to get scammed. If you want a service, pay for it.
If you don't want a service, don't pay for it. In the United States
Corporations started using written word, through legal contracts, to begin
eliminating competition in the market place. These same corporations use
these same documents to force you into paying for work even if your system is still
not functioning properly. The next time someone presents you with a
contract give them the finger and tell them to go work for a bank.
Bottom Line
