A quick search found, on the low end, you can rent office space in Seattle, WA for about $22.00 per square foot.  In our example we'll use a single employee who has an office that is 10 ft. by 10ft. or 100 square feet.  Simple math says the minimum cost of having that employee in the office is about $220.00 per month or $2,640.00 per year.

Wow!  You might be throwing away a minimum of $2,640.00 per year, and this is for only one employee.  Run your numbers for an accurate analysis.

Efficiency:

The undeniable truth is Telecommuting allows companies to get more done in a day.  If you have to go onsite for a client, then have to go back to the office and process data you're wasting so much time and gas it is scary.  You may also consider your customer satisfaction when you're able to immediately satisfy their request onsite.
